I'm a parent interested in training
Individual and small-group sessions are open year-round to any serious player — whether or not he ends up on a Rising Stars roster. Start with the interest form. It takes about two minutes, and we'll call you to talk through his goals, his school season, and where we'd start him. No commitment either way. [ GET STARTED ] → risingstarsbballprogram.com/train
I'm interested in the 2027 teams
For 2027 we're forming 8th, 9th, and 10th grade travel teams competing on the NXTPRO Puma Circuit. Tryouts are in late February, after school basketball seasons end. Join the interest list and we'll contact you directly when dates are set. [ JOIN THE 2027 INTEREST LIST ] → risingstarsbballprogram.com/tryouts
I'm interested in a head coaching role
We're hiring two head coaches for 2027 — one for our 8th grade team, one for our 9th. We're looking for people who teach rather than just call plays, who are comfortable holding 13- and 14-year-olds to a standard and being held to one themselves, and who are available year-round rather than just tournament weekends. One hard requirement: you cannot be affiliated with a school program in any capacity. AHSAA rules are not negotiable here and we will not put a player's eligibility at risk. If you coach at a school, we can't hire you — no exceptions, no gray area. Email us with your background and we'll set up a call. brian@risingstarsbballprogram.com
I'm a high school or middle school coach
If one of your players trains with us, we want you to know exactly what that involves. Individual sessions are strictly one player with one coach — permitted year-round under AHSAA rules, including during your season. Small-group work runs only outside the school season. We ask every family for their school and season dates before a player steps on the floor, and we schedule around them. If you ask us to pause a player, we pause. Same day. No argument. You don't owe us a reason. We are not trying to be his primary team during your season. We're trying to send him back to you better than he left. If you have a question about one of your players — or you'd rather we not work with him at all — call or email directly. Brian Snider · 334-714-1439 · brian@risingstarsbballprogram.com
I'd like to support the program
Rising Stars is a year-round program, and we're building it to last. If you're a local business or an individual interested in supporting player development in Birmingham, we'd like to talk. brian@risingstarsbballprogram.com
